Paulette Bourne
Chief Executive OfficerEducation, areas of expertise and experience
Paulette Bourne is the founder of Cognition Communication Strategies Pty Ltd, a consulting company focusing on talent and learning development, business strategy and coaching.
Paulette has extensive experience in strategic learning management and skills advisory services within the financial services industry, through varying roles which she occupied throughout her career at First National Bank, Investec Bank, BANKSETA and Tyme Bank.
She is equipped to liaise comfortably in both the public and private sector, through her collaborative approach. Her responsibilities at BANKSETA entailed promoting, implementing supporting learning offerings by partnering with employers in the broader banking and micro finance sector.
It is evident from her experience and expertise in the talent and development arena, that Paulette takes people development very seriously.
Paulette’s academic achievements include the attainment of a BCom in Marketing & Human Resources from the University of the Witwatersrand; a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from The WITS Business School and an MBA with the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).
